Test your headphones and verify stereo audio output.
Click any button to enable audio.
Click a button to test your headphones.
Click "Left Ear" — you should hear sound only in your left ear. Then click "Right Ear" — sound should come only from the right. If one side is silent, check your audio balance or headphone connection.
Click "Inversion Test" to check headphone polarity. If the sound feels hollow or sounds wrong, your headphones may be wired out of phase — common in cheap or damaged cables.
Use the Frequency Test buttons to check Bass (60 Hz), Mid (500 Hz), and Treble (5 kHz). Distorted bass or muffled treble can reveal driver damage or equalizer issues.
Most headphone problems come down to one of these four causes. Each has a simple fix.
One Ear Is Silent
Check your system audio balance. Windows: right-click the speaker icon > Sound settings > Balance. macOS: System Settings > Sound > Output > Balance slider. Also check the headphone cable connection.
Sound Feels Hollow or Off
This usually means phase/polarity inversion. Try a different cable, re-plug the headphones fully, or test with the Inversion Test button above.
Bluetooth Headphones — One Side Only
Disconnect, forget the device, and re-pair it. On iOS and macOS also check Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual > Balance is centred.
No Sound in the Browser Only
Click anywhere on the page first to trigger audio permission, then press a test button. This is a standard browser autoplay restriction — not a headphone problem.
